Daphne odora ‘Maejima’

Maejima Variegated Pink Winter Daphne: A semi-dwarf evergreen sub-shrub 3-4′ tall and wide that has golden-yellow leaves with green stripes down the center. Highly fragrant blooms are white inside and dark purplish-pink outside. Blooms in late winter and spring. Attracts hummingbirds, birds, bees and pollinators. Good for containers and for cut flowers. Part sun to part shade. Medium water, with well drained, preferably acid soil. Coast tolerant with protection from wind. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
