This is a Taylor Technologies Daylight Comparator Lamp, part number 9199, designed to be used with the Color Comparators. It is portable, compact and provides the same high quality illumination used by professional photographers.
The Daylight Comparator Lamp can be held up by hand behind the comparators or mounted on the wall for a more permanent solution. It can also be placed on a stand (part 9200) to accommodate Taylor’s longer Slide comparators. It can be used with Taylor 2000 Series as well as the Midget comparators in their Professional Series.
To avoid a false color match between a metameric pair, be sure to use a daylight simulator whenever you’re performing colorimetric tests inside under fluorescent or incandescent lighting.
