Flamethrower Redbud

It’s not often that the leaves of a tree can give its flowers a run for their money, but ‘Flamethrower’ does just that! New growth emerges a vibrant red color, maturing to orange, yellow, and then green. Since each leaf matures in color at different rates, one can spot 4-5 colors on each branch at any given time, making for quite a spectacle! On top of all this, in spring before leaves emerge, stems are covered with thousands of fushia-colored flowers!
