With our increasing population and limited breaks to surf, it is inevitable that one day surfing will become a contact sport. To get in early, we have formed a governing body and drawn up a rulebook for the new sport. We can’t give too much away but we can confirm that the equipment required will include jousting sticks and ropes to lasso opponents.
