A genuine pressure switch designed for select Hayward gas pool heaters. It monitors water flow and pressure: if the heater does not receive adequate flow, the switch will shut down the heater to prevent damage and ensure safe operation.

Installation Notes
Shut off power and fuel supply to the heater. Remove the existing switch, clean the mounting port, ensure proper thread seal and torque the new CHXPRS1931 switch to manufacturer specifications. Restore flow and power, then test the heater through a full cycle verifying correct operation and no fault codes.
Maintenance Tip
During the heaters annual service, check operation of the pressure switch, inspect for adhesive corrosion or debris, and verify proper actuation. Replace the switch if you observe frequent lock-outs, failure to reset, or physical damage to ensure safe heater recovery.
