The Pentair Sand Dollar SD80 is a performance-driven top-mount sand filter engineered for long life and efficient pool filtration. Its 26″ diameter body and 3.5 sq. feet of filter area allow up to 75 gallons per minute flowideal for medium to large residential pools. The shell is molded from a single thermoplastic piece to resist corrosion and UV damage. Internally, the lateral design ensures even water distribution and prevents channeling, maximizing filtration effectiveness over long cycles.
A six-way multiport valve provides simple switching between filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate, and closed modes. Installation Tips
