An herbaceous plant in the guise of a shrub- spikenard is a unique addition to shade gardens and an excellent replacement for Japanese knotweed! Flowers are small but arranged in large sprays, and showy berries feed woodland birds. Large clusters of berries ripen unevenly so show multiple different colors at once.
